Day to night in 5 easy steps

These ideas were taken from years of practice, and by reading other's suggestions and watching youtube videos.

Step 1. Healthy Skin! Wash your face with mild soap and water every morning before adding makeup, and then every night to take makeup off. Your pores will love you.

Step 2: During the daytime go for the natural look - Light brown eyeshadow with just a touch of white near the brow, or sometimes I place it in the middle of my eyelid, next to my lashes. This gives a look of brightness. Don't use heavy eyeliner, but mascara looks good after applying all other makeup.

Step 3: Work has ended and it's time to go to the party - have a small makeup bag with you (or even a ziplock baggie) for darker eyeshadow, lipstick, and light blush. (Tones of pink or brown...not harsh.) Focus on the eyes, then your sweetheart will focus there as well. So much is said from a look, wouldn't you agree?

Step 4: Take a pair of heels with you to work and if going out, change to them. If your blouse is buttoned, undo a few to look sexy not showy. Don't use heavy perfumes.

Step 5: Brush your hair. For a tassled look, bend from the waist and brush hair over your head, when you straighten up your hair will have a little more body. Use hairspray only at the roots to hold, if all around it weighs down your hair.

Wah-la...You have a new look for a night out on the town. :)
